The Famous Grouse Smoky Black Blended Scotch Whisky (75cl, 40%)

The Famous Grouse Smoky Black is a peated blended Scotch whisky, made as a smokier take on the classic Famous Grouse. It first appeared in 2007 as The Black Grouse and took its current name in 2015. The blend of malt and grain whiskies leans more heavily on peated malt. It is bottled at 40% ABV. The nose offers soft peat smoke with malt, dried fruit, toasted cereal and hints of coffee. On the palate, smoky malt and gentle peat are joined by caramel, dried fruit, oak and warming spice. The finish is dry and gently smoky, with malt, oak and a little spice.
