The Famous Grouse (1L, 40%)

The Famous Grouse is a Scotch blended whisky in a 1 litre bottle, bottled at 40% ABV. It combines malt whisky with grain whisky and has a full golden colour. The blend is described as smooth and rounded, with a soft warmth and fresh fruit. It can be drunk neat or over ice, or mixed with ginger ale and a wedge of lime. On the nose there is candied fruit, citrus zest, buttery shortbread and soft oak. The palate brings dried fruit, light caramel and malt, with cinnamon and ginger, a little citrus and a faint hint of smoke. The finish is smooth and balanced, with lasting fruit, gentle spice and a light touch of wood.
