The First Editions Glenburgie 16 Year Old is a single cask Speyside single malt, distilled at Glenburgie in 2007 and bottled in 2024 by Edition Spirits for The First Editions range. It comes at a natural cask strength of 53.1% ABV, from an outturn of 354 bottles.
It matured for 16 years in a refill Sherry butt, and shows Glenburgie's fruity character.
The nose offers apricot, peach and strawberry with fresh orchard fruit. On the palate there are dried apple and golden raisin with honey and vanilla. The finish is long and fruity, with honey, dried fruit and a touch of white pepper.
