The Gladstone Axe American Oak is a blended Scotch whisky in a 75cl bottle. Each batch is made from 100% malted barley.
It is a blend of malt whiskies from 14 different Highland and Islay distilleries, aged in American oak barrels that previously held bourbon. The ex-bourbon barrels are said to give the blend mellow, sweet notes.
