The GlenAllachie 10 Years Old French Oak Finish is a Speyside single malt from batch 2 of the Virgin Oak Series. It matured in American oak bourbon barrels, then spent around 18 months in unused oak for its finish.
For this bottling the finish was in virgin French oak casks, made with wood from the Haute Garonne. It is bottled at 48% in a 70cl bottle, without chill-filtration and without added colour.
It is described as having silky tannins, sweet spices and fruit notes.
