The GlenAllachie 12 Years is a Speyside single malt from Master Distiller Billy Walker, in a 70cl bottle. It is made from 100% Scottish malted barley and matured for 12 years in a selection of ex-bourbon, Pedro Ximénez, oloroso sherry and virgin oak casks.
The nose offers acacia honey, raisins, caramel, vanilla and milk chocolate, with cinnamon, nutmeg, orange peel and toasted oak behind. The palate is rich, soft and velvety, with honey, vanilla, dried fruit and cocoa. The finish is long and warm, with dark chocolate, cinnamon and oak returning.
