The GlenAllachie 13 Year Old Madeira Wood Single Malt Scotch

This is a 13-year-old single malt Scotch from The GlenAllachie, matured with Madeira wood. The distillery was built in 1967 by Mackinlay's, the distilling arm of Scottish & Newcastle Breweries, during the whisky boom of the 1960s. For years it was seldom bottled as a single malt. In 2017 it was sold to The GlenAllachie Distillers Company, run by Billy Walker, Graham Stevenson and Trisha Savage, who added the capital A to the name in keeping with Walker's changes at BenRiach and GlenDronach.
