Meikle Tòir The Sherry is a heavily peated Speyside single malt from The GlenAllachie. It is made from malted barley dried over peat fires, then matured in sherry casks.
The idea is to set rich sherry sweetness against a smoky core. Peat smoke is intense, but it sits alongside dried fruit, spice and the depth of oak, giving a whisky that is powerful yet rounded.
