This is a Glenlivet 12 year old single malt Scotch whisky produced in the 1980s. The distillery later replaced the 12 year old expression with Founder's Reserve in 2015.
The whisky is gold in colour. The nose is dry, grassy and very malty, with honey, ripe apples, muesli, butter and yeast. The palate is fruity, with apples, honey, caramel and spice. The finish is fairly long, with liquorice and caramel in the aftertaste.
