This is The Glenlivet 12 Year Old, a single malt from the 2000s with a light amber colour.
The nose is vanilla with hot butter and oak, then tarte tatin, caramel, vanilla cream and a hint of liquorice. On the palate are liquorice root, dried fruits, caramel, vanilla cream, plenty of oak and white pepper, developing towards crystallised orange zest. The finish is quite long, with touches of caramel.
