The Glenlivet – 12 Year Old (70cl, 40%)

This is The Glenlivet 12 Year Old single malt, bottled at 40% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is matured first in traditional oak, then in American oak casks, which add vanilla notes. Water from Josie's Well is used for mashing and fermentation, and the height and width of the copper stills shape its delicate yet complex character. The nose is fruity and summery. The palate is well balanced and fruity, with strong pineapple notes, and the finish is long, creamy and smooth.
