The Glenlivet 15 Year Old French Oak Reserve is a single malt Scotch whisky from Speyside, bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle. It shows the influence of French Limousin oak casks.
The nose is rich and oaky, with chewy resinous wood, fudge, Madeira and apple crumble with calvados. The palate is full and medium-bodied, with winter spice of cinnamon and cloves, thick oak and a developing dryness. The finish is long, dry and peppery.
