The Glenlivet – Caskmakers

This is a Speyside single malt from The Glenlivet, made with the help of cask experts from Speyside and master coopers from Jerez. Spanish sherry casks and freshly charred European oak casks were taken apart and rebuilt stave by stave into a new cask, in which the whisky matured. The nose is of juicy pear with honey, cinnamon, ginger and nutmeg. The palate brings dried fruit, grilled pineapple, toasted oak and campfire smoke, and the finish is full, sweet and spicy.
