The Glenlivet 21 Year Old 'For the Chairman' is a Speyside single malt distilled in 1963 and bottled in 1984 at 43% ABV, in a 75cl bottle. It was a limited release from casks traditionally reserved for the chairman and his family, matured in sherry casks. The nose is mature, with dried apricots, figs and orange peel, walnuts, polished oak and leather, and a little mint and heather. The palate is silky, with toffee, dark chocolate and spiced fruitcake, then black tea, cinnamon and nutmeg. The finish is long and warming, with fruit compote, vanilla and a touch of smoke, ending dry with cedar and dried herbs.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
