A Speyside single malt made as a tribute to George Smith, who founded The Glenlivet distillery in 1824. It is bottled at 40% ABV in a 70cl bottle and carries no age statement.
The whisky is matured in traditional oak casks together with first-fill American oak casks, which bring sweetness, vanilla and a creamy texture.
The nose is fresh, with sweet orange and other citrus, creamy vanilla and a touch of honey. On the palate it is soft and creamy, with orange, pear, apple, toffee and vanilla. The finish is long and gentle, with sweet fruit and vanilla.
