The Master Distiller's Reserve is a small batch single malt from The Glenlivet in Speyside, bottled on 19 August 2015 at 40% in a 1 litre bottle.
It was matured in a combination of ex-sherry casks, American oak and traditional oak casks.
The nose brings ripe raisins, soft vanilla and spicy oak. On the palate it is creamy, with honey, soft spices, dried fruit and a subtle sherry influence. The finish is warm, round and persistent.
