The Glenrothes 30 Years Old, in its 2020 release, is a Speyside single malt bottled at 43% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
It was aged for 30 years in a combination of first-fill European oak sherry-seasoned casks and ex-bourbon American oak casks, which bring the influence of the wood together with sweet, fragrant notes of lychee and jasmine.
The nose is fragrant, with a hint of lychee, jasmine and allspice. The palate is creamy, with zesty fruitcake and nutmeg, and the finish is long, with dried fruits and spices.
