The Glenrothes Maker's Cut is a Speyside single malt selected by the Master Whisky Maker from 100% first-fill ex-sherry casks. The Master Whisky Maker also chose the bottling strength, and the whisky is bottled in its natural colour.
It is one of four new Glenrothes bottlings launched after the distillery announced in mid-2018 that it would stop releasing vintage bottlings. It belongs to the Soleo Collection, named after the sun-drying of grapes for sherry in Jerez.
