This is a Speyside single malt from The Glenrothes, in a 70cl bottle at 48.8% ABV. The strength was chosen by the distillery's Master Whisky Maker, and the whisky is bottled at natural colour.
It was matured only in first-fill sherry-seasoned oak casks, and the character is built around creamy vanilla, orange peel and nutmeg.
The nose is resinous, with candied peel and fresh oak. The palate is rich and spicy, with creamy vanilla and orange peel. The finish is long and fruity, with orange peel and a hint of nutmeg.
