The Irishman is a single malt Irish whiskey bottled at 40% in a 75cl bottle. It was matured in two woods: American oak that previously held bourbon, and Oloroso sherry casks.
The nose offers buttery dark caramel, spice cake, roasted nuts and toasty oak. The palate is dry yet fruity, medium to full in body, with honeyed toast, chocolate-covered fig and brown spice, leading to a long, warming finish.
