The John Walker & Sons Private Collection 2014 Edition is a blended Scotch whisky, the first in a series of annual, limited releases. Master Blender Jim Beveridge chose 29 casks from bespoke and experimental stocks to make it.
The blend is built around smoke from three Scottish regions: bold, peaty Islay smoke, fresh maritime island smoke and sweet, subtle Highland smoke.
It was made in an outturn of 8,888 decanters. Each dark blue glass decanter is individually numbered and its design echoes the slanted Johnnie Walker label.
