The Lakes Distillery – Forbidden Fruit, The Whiskymaker's Editions Sherry Cask (70cl)

Forbidden Fruit is a sherry cask single malt from The Lakes Distillery in Cumbria, released in The Whiskymaker's Editions, a series of one-off bottlings. It pairs the rustic character of Port with the bright exotic fruit of dessert wine. It is non-chill filtered and of natural colour. The nose brings Turkish delight, peach cobbler, rose petals and plum sauce. On the palate, sugared rose petals and fruit jam meet vanilla cream and baking spices. The finish is long, with layers of complex fruit.
