The Lakes Distillery – The One Colheita Cask Whisky (70cl)

The One Colheita is a blended whisky from The Lakes Distillery in a 70cl bottle. It combines The Lakes Single Malt with grain and malt Scotch whiskies from the Highlands, Speyside and Islay, then is finished in Colheita casks. Colheita means harvest and refers to port made from the grapes of a single year. It is non-chill filtered and takes its colour only from the oak casks. The nose offers peach cobbler, fresh apricot and a whiff of autumnal smoke. On the palate come ripe plums, vanilla custard and warming cinnamon, and the finish is rich and comforting.
