The Lakes Distillery – The One Sherry Cask Finish (70cl)

The One Sherry Cask Finish is a blended whisky from The Lakes Distillery, in a 70cl bottle. The Lakes Single Malt is blended with Scotch grain and malt whiskies from the Highlands, Speyside and Islay. It is matured mainly in European oak Oloroso and Pedro Ximenez casks, with American, French and Spanish oak also used, and the Pedro Ximenez casks lead its dark, sweet character. It is bottled at natural colour and is non-chill filtered. The nose has peat smoke, treacle toffee and dried fruit. The palate brings dark chocolate, orange oil and wood smoke, and the finish is lingering, with smoke and rich dried fruit.
