Resfeber is an English single malt from The Lakes Distillery, near Bassenthwaite Lake in Cumbria, and part of The Whiskymaker's Editions series. It was released in February 2023.
The whisky is built around casks that previously held cream sherry, with red wine barriques adding a further influence. It is bottled at 46.6%, non-chill filtered and at natural colour.
Tasting notes describe a creamy, slightly tart character. The nose offers Jazz apple, toffee and treacle with dried apricot, the palate Maraschino cherry and rose petal preserve, and the finish is warming, with lingering fruit and gentle spice.
