Equinox is part of The Whiskymaker's Editions from The Lakes Distillery, an English single malt released in a limited run. It was inspired by the turn from summer to autumn. The whisky matured in ex-Oloroso and ex-Moscatel casks and is bottled at 46.6% in a 70cl bottle.
The nose offers apple, apricot, spice and sandalwood. The palate is soft and balanced, with orchard fruit, orange blossom and sweet spices. The finish is of medium length, lively and spicy.
