Resfeber is an English single malt from The Lakes Distillery, part of its Whiskymaker's Editions series. It is bottled at 46.6% in a 70cl bottle and released in a limited edition.
The name points to the energy and anticipation felt before setting out on a new journey. The whisky matured in cream sherry seasoned casks and ex-red wine casks.
The nose is sweet and fruity, with apple, cream, pastry, vanilla and cherries. The palate is creamy, with raspberries, cherries, marmalade, oak and a hint of wax. The finish is medium in length, creamy, with cocoa and nuts.
