The One Manzanilla Cask Finish is a blended whisky from The Lakes Distillery, part of The One Whisky Collection. It combines The Lakes Single Malt with grain and malt Scotch whiskies from the Highlands, Speyside and Islay, then finishes the blend in Manzanilla casks. It is bottled at 46.6% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The nose brings plum jam, boiled sweets, aromatic woodsmoke and a touch of salinity. On the palate there are lightly stewed apples and candied ginger with a hint of lemon zest. The finish is fresh and balanced.
