The Lakes Volar is a single malt from the Whiskymaker's Editions series, made in England and bottled at 52% in a 70cl bottle. It is a limited release.
Volar is Spanish for 'to fly', and the name is inspired by the eagles that soar over the mountains of Cantabria. The whisky was matured twice, in ex-wine casks and in sherry casks, and is bottled at cask strength.
