The Lakes – Whiskymaker's Edition Iris (56%)

Iris is a Whiskymaker's Edition from The Lakes Distillery, created by whiskymaker Dhavall Gandhi and bottled at 56% ABV. It departs from the distillery's sherry-led house style, taking its inspiration from Gulmarg, the Himalayan "meadow of flowers". Fruit and flowers lead the character. The nose brings red apples, pears, honeysuckle and tropical fruit. On the palate, sweetness and freshness sit together with considerable intensity, and the finish carries fruit and floral notes. The bottle itself is brightly coloured.
