The Lakes Whiskymaker's Editions Kairos is a single malt from The Lakes Distillery in Cumbria, part of a range of sherry-led one-off releases. Its name is an ancient Greek word for the right or opportune moment. It is bottled non-chill filtered and at natural colour.
The nose brings spices, sultanas, treacle and cocoa. On the palate, dry and sweet sit in balance, as do woody and light, and the finish is warm and lightly spiced.
