The Lakes Whiskymaker's Reserve No. 5 is an English single malt from the Lakes Distillery in Cumbria. It is the fifth release in the Whiskymaker's Reserve series, which began in 2019.
It was matured in Oloroso, PX and red wine casks made from Spanish and American oak, and keeps the sherry-led, wood-forward character of the series.
It is described as perfumed and fruity on the nose, with nutty baklava and fragrant baking spices on the palate, leading to a vibrant, creamy finish.
