The Lakes Whiskymaker's Editions Resfeber (70cl)

Resfeber comes from The Lakes Distillery in Cumbria and belongs to the Whiskymaker's Editions, a series of one-off releases. It was released in February 2023. The core of the whisky is cream sherry seasoned casks, with extra character from red wine barriques. It is non-chill filtered and of natural colour. The nose has Jazz apples dipped in toffee treacle, gentle baking spice and dried apricots. On the palate are Maraschino cherries, toffee, rose petal preserve and hints of summer pudding. The finish is vibrant yet creamy and warming.
