The Lakes Whiskymaker's Editions Revelation (70cl)

Revelation is the first of two limited-edition single malts in The Whiskymaker's Editions from The Lakes Distillery in Cumbria. It was originally made in partnership with Selfridges. The series gathers one-off releases that depart from the distillery's sherry-led house style, and this one uses oak-led maturation to build tropical fruit character. Only 763 individually numbered bottles were filled, each in 70cl. It is non-chill filtered and natural in colour. The nose offers geranium leaf, marzipan, juicy plums and a hint of rose water. The palate brings tropical fruits, rose petals and honey roasted almonds. The finish is fruity and gently spiced, and lingers.
