The Legendary Silkie is a blended Irish whiskey from Donegal, bottled at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is an independent bottling from the Sliabh Liag distillery.
The blend combines malt and grain whiskey. The name comes from the Silkies, the mythical sea maidens said in legend to have lived off the Donegal coast.
The whiskey is described as exceptionally soft, with a fresh but rich character. The texture is silky and the flavour rich and warming.
