The Leith Export Co. Table Whisky Single Grain (70cl, 43%)

Table Whisky is a single grain whisky from The Leith Export Co., blended in Leith and bottled by the Port of Leith Distillery at 43%, in a 70cl bottle. The grain whisky comes from North British, a neighbouring Edinburgh distillery. Two thirds matured in virgin oak and one third in sherry casks. The virgin oak adds a fresh, lively character and strengthens the vanilla of the grain. The nose offers raspberry, buttercream, cinnamon bun, apple pie and a hint of Parma Violet. The palate brings gingerbread, toffee popcorn, redcurrant, vanilla, oak spice and pepper, and the finish is rich and creamy.
