The Macallan 12 Year Old Colour Collection is a single malt Scotch whisky bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle. It was matured in American oak casks, with a small addition of European oak, and the oak was seasoned with sherry from Jerez de la Frontera in Spain.
The Colour Collection centres on natural colour and sherry seasoning, and this 12 year old has a golden oak hue.
It is described as having notes of sweet oak, lemon and vanilla.
