This is a 12 year old Speyside single malt from The Macallan, aged in sherry casks and sold in a 70cl bottle.
The nose offers dried fruits, hazelnuts and marzipan, with hints of dark chocolate and vanilla. The palate is smooth and full-bodied, with pronounced hazelnut and cocoa, a little spice and a touch of cinnamon. The finish is long and warming, with lingering oak and malt sweetness.
