The Macallan 12 Year Old Sherry Oak 110 Proof is a Speyside single malt bottled at 55% (110 Proof) in a 75cl bottle. It takes the character of the standard Sherry Oak 12 Years Old and adds depth through its higher strength. The whisky matured for 12 years exclusively in sherry seasoned oak casks on the 485-acre Estate at Easter Elchies. It is deep amber with a viscous texture. The nose brings sticky dates and gentle cinnamon. The palate has layers of rich oak with a touch of stem ginger, and the long finish carries oak, dark dried fruit and lingering spice.
