This is The Macallan 12 Year Old Sherry Oak Cask in the original burgundy presentation box used before the 2018 packaging redesign. It is a Speyside single malt in a 75cl bottle, bottled at 40% (80 proof). The whisky is matured for a minimum of 12 years in hand-picked, sherry-seasoned oak casks from Jerez, Spain, made from Oloroso-seasoned European oak. It is bottled at natural colour. It was made under Master Whisky Maker Bob Dalgarno. The box shows a sketch of Easter Elchies House on its side panel, with tasting notes printed on it.
