The Macallan 12 Year Old Sherry Oak is a single malt matured exclusively in Oloroso sherry-seasoned oak casks from Jerez, Spain. It comes in a 70cl bottle.
The spirit stays in the same casks for the full 12 years, and the whisky has a natural golden colour.
Sherry, Christmas cake, dried fruits and old leather mark the nose, followed by Jaffa orange, brittle toffee and light oak on a smooth, full palate. The finish is long, with spice, malt, oak and sweet dried fruit.
