This is The Macallan 12 Year Old Sherry Oak, a single malt in a 70cl bottle at 40% abv, from the Sherry Oak range.
It matured for 12 years in oak casks from Jerez in Spain, which is where it gained its aromas.
The colour is amber. The nose shows oak, dried fruit, sherry and vanilla. The palate is smooth, with sherry, light smoke, dark berries and spice, and the finish is long, with dark fruit.
