The Macallan 15 Year Old Double Cask is a Speyside single malt matured in two kinds of oak. Part of it rests in carefully selected American oak casks seasoned with dry Oloroso sherry, and part in European oak casks. The aim is a balance between the American oak and the sherry notes. Subtle citrus, vanilla, spice and butterscotch give it a soft, warm character.
