This is a 15 year old single malt from Macallan, bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle.
It was matured in two kinds of cask: American oak seasoned with Oloroso sherry, and European oak. The result is a fruity, sweet whisky that still carries the vanilla and spice character associated with Macallan.
The colour is golden caramel. The nose brings dried fruit, caramel, vanilla, oak and fresh apples. On the palate come sweet raisins, vanilla, oak and citrus fruit. The finish is long, with a light ginger bite followed by sweet caramel.
