This is a 25 year old single malt from The Macallan, a 2021 release bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle. It spent the full 25 years in Oloroso sherry-seasoned oak casks from Jerez, Spain, and has a rich mahogany colour.
The nose brings citrus with cinnamon, sherry and wood smoke. On the palate it is full and rich, with dried fruits and a hint of wood smoke. The finish is long, with dried fruit, wood smoke and spice.
