The Macallan 25 Year Old Sherry Oak is a single malt Scotch whisky from the 2021 release, bottled at 43% abv in a 700ml bottle. It spent the full 25 years in the same casks, all of them Oloroso sherry-seasoned oak from Jerez, Spain.
The whisky has a rich mahogany colour. On the nose there is citrus, cinnamon, sherry and wood smoke. The palate is full and rich, with dried fruit and a hint of wood smoke, and the long finish brings dried fruit, wood smoke and spice.
