The Macallan – A Night On Earth In Scotland 2022 Second Release (70cl, 43%)

This is a single malt from The Macallan, bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle. It is a seasonal release inspired by Hogmanay, the Scottish New Year celebrations held on 31st December. It is a collaboration with the Japanese-French illustrator Erica Dorn, whose abstract illustrations draw on the fire rituals of New Year celebrations around the world. The whisky is made from American and European oak sherry seasoned casks together with American ex-bourbon barrels. It has a sweet, shortbread-like character, a nod to the Scottish treat traditionally eaten at Hogmanay, with festive notes of dried orange and spice.
