The First Light is a limited edition single malt from The Macallan's A Night On Earth series, bottled at 43% abv in a 70cl bottle.
It was matured in a combination of sherry-seasoned European and American oak casks, with a sparing share of casks that previously held bourbon. The release is a tribute to joy, renewal and shared beginnings at the first light of the new year.
