A Speyside single malt from The Macallan, bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle. It is the eighth release in the Archival Series and commemorates 'The Colossus of Nose', a well-known Macallan advert from the 1980s that played on the aroma of the King of Malts.
The nose brings ripe dried fruits, berry compote with toffee, lemon peel, cinnamon and a hint of anise. On the palate come ginger, a burst of citrus and sweet oak, followed by a long, rich finish with sweet oak spices.
