The Macallan Classic Cut 2018 Limited Edition is the second annual release in the Classic Cut series, a Speyside single malt in a 700ml bottle at 52.2% ABV.
It is matured exclusively in hand-picked sherry seasoned oak casks from Jerez, Spain, and bottled at natural colour and non-chill filtered. It carries no age statement and comes in a red and gold textured box. The label gives its character as citrus, sweet vanilla and spice.
The nose is fresh, with citrus zest, sweet vanilla, dried apricot, cinnamon and a lively sherry sweetness. The palate is rich and full, with orange zest, vanilla cream and toasted oak.
